Read More We, on the other hand, think of ourselves as a small, committed team of creative, commercially-aware marketers who help our clients get to wherever they are trying to go. Read Less What We Do - In a nutshell, we help organisations of all sizes leverage the power of digital marketing to achieve their objectives. How We Do It - There are two fundamental components to the way in which we work, and they are quite simple: One: we only work with a limited number of clients at any particular time. Two: all of our energies are focused on achieving results for these clients.

Marketing Institute Of Ireland

Social Media

The Brief:

The Marketing Institute of Ireland (MII) are the representative body for professional marketers in Ireland. A core element of their remit is to increase participation by marketers nationally and support their ongoing professional development. The Cork Region branch of the Institute required strategic and implementation support for their Social Media, and reached out to the CEO of UpDate Digital (which was known as Zone Digital at the time), who was a Graduate of the Institute and an MII member for over 20 years.

The Project:

The team at UpDate Digital were Social Media Partners to the Cork regional branch of the MII for three years, helping them to leverage social media to raise awareness of the Institute, to improve attendances at professional and networking events, and to significantly enhance engagement between the Institute and its members.

What the client had to say:

“Update Digital worked with MII Cork for a number of years where they took responsibility for our social media presence. During this time, we noticed a substantial increase in our engagement figures which translated to increased participation at networking and training events we held. The dedication and passion of the team at Update Digital was essential to this as well as the manner in which they captured our ‘tone of voice’  perfectly in their activities on our behalf.”

Dr Pio Fenton, Chair of MII Cork.
